Win this most unusual Fender Jazzmaster guitar

It’s based on a 1958 prototype Jazzmaster that had slightly different features than the production model that debuted later that year. These include an ash body, two-color finish and black pickup covers. So it’s not like any of the other fine Jazzmaster models you can buy today. Further it’s part of a very small limited run of such guitars that were built solely for our Jazzmaster 50th anniversary party/concert at famed New York nightclub the Knitting Factory on Sept. 12, 2008. This guitar was there.

As such, it’s signed by that event’s honored guests, truly an extraordinary assembly of Jazzmaster artists—Sonic Youth guitarists Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo, Dinosaur Jr. leader J Mascis, Wilco guitarist Nels Cline and Television guitarists Tom Verlaine and Jimmy Ripp. We don’t even have words for how cool that is.

It can be yours, and winning this thing will definitely make you boss of the beach. So do the whole sign-up thing as instructed here, and if you happen to become the lucky winner, we’ll be in touch …
