The London Drum Show 2010 is around the corner

For all drummers and drum lovers that might be at the British Capital in the beginning of this coming month, two full days of overwhelming drum excitement is about to happen. On September 4th and 5th 2010, London will become the Mecca for all percussion practitioners, who will be able to check out first-hand the latest products and gear, watch the world’s top players in action, and attend master-classes and clinics, all under the roof of the Olympia conference Centre.

Among the exhibitors at the London Drum Show 2010 are respected brand names known around the world such as Meinl, Evans, Korg, Mapex, Yamaha, Paiste, Sabian, Tama, Vic Firth and others as well as local distributors and boutique manufacturers like Matt Nolan Custom Cymbals, DrumTuna and Natal Drums. It is most certain all attendees will see and hear plenty of new stuff in the exhibitors’ hall. The Live Stage auditorium that seats 450 people will be hosting performances from world renowned artists like Dave Weckl, Ian Matthews, Ndugu Chancler, Andy Fisenden, Pete Lockett, Mike Mangini, Nisan Stewart, and Benny Greb. All tickets for the performances are free for those visiting the Drum Show, but be aware that they are limited. Tickets will be distributed by the artists’ main sponsors. Among the Masterclasses are:

  • Ralph Salmins & Paul Clarvis’ Working With Soundtracks,
  • Albert Vila, Monica Cano, Duende and Garrahand Flamenco Masterclass,
  • Carig Blundell & Rico Loop DJ/Beatboxer Masterclass,
  • Dave Weckl Masterclass,
  • Nduru Chancler Masterclass.

    Tickets for the London Drum Show 2010 are on sale for £12.50 per day in advance or £15 on the door. Not bad at all for a day of endless fun, information, and top notch entertainment.
