Elixir, others announces winner of Ultimate Rig promotion

Elixir Strings, Ultimate Ears, Bad Cat, BOSS and Premier Guitar magazine are pleased to announce that Ben Cortez of Thibodaux, LA is the lucky guitar enthusiast who has won a professional-grade rig through the companies’ “Ultimate Rig Promotion.” The in-pack sweepstakes, in which Cortez participated, involved specially marked packages of Elixir Strings.
As the grand prize winner, Cortez is the owner of a new rig comprised of a set of Ultimate Ears’ 18 Pro custom-fit, in-ear monitors; one Bad Cat CUB X amplifier; a BOSS® FDR-1 65’ Deluxe Pedal, FBM-1 59’ Bassman Pedal, FZ-5 Fuzz and DN-2 Dyna Drive Pedal; a one-year subscription to Premier Guitar magazine; and a one-year supply of Elixir Strings, as well as one patch cable and one instrument cable from Elixir® Cables.
Additionally, first prize winner, Nick Chamian of Woodland Hills, CA, will receive one pair of Ultimate Ears’ universal-fit, in-ear monitors, one BOSS TU-3 tuner pedal, one Elixir Cables patch cable, one Elixir Cables instrument cable, and a one-year supply of Elixir Strings. Second prize was awarded to Chase Mielke, of South Haven, MI, who was presented with a one-year supply of Elixir Strings. Ten contestants came in third, securing one set of Elixir Strings and one instrument cable from Elixir Cables. All first, second and third prize winners will receive a one-year subscription to Premier Guitar magazine. A total of 60 “instant winners” walked home with a set of Elixir Strings.
