Mic Control allows vocalists to control TC-Helicon effects from microphon

First TC-Helicon gave vocalists a way to harmonize with themselves. No the company= announces another first for vocalists – the revolutionary and innovative Mic Control function that puts control of TC-Helicon’s vocal effects units exactly where it’s needed – in the palm of your hand.

Mic Control allows for communication between TC-Helicon’s new Mic Control equipped MP-75 microphone and its most popular vocal effects devices, including VoiceLive 2, VoiceLive Touch and VoiceTone products with USB (including the recently announced VoiceTone Singles) through a single button on the barrel of the microphone.

With products such as VoiceLive 2 and VoiceLive Touch the button is user-configurable, allowing Mic Control to be tailored to suit the way you want to work. With the patent pending Mic Control any vocalist can now switch effects in or out of the signal path without having to interrupt the flow by looking for pedals or switches, or having to be where the effects are on the stage.

So what are you going to do with all this control? When set up and singing with the MP-75 microphone and any USB-enabled TC-Helicon vocal processor, vocalists now have the freedom to move around the stage while maintaining full control of their vocal sound.

MP-75: US$210, €160

Some specific examples of what Mic-Control can do:
▸ VoiceLive Touch & VoiceLive 2: remote control of the single button looper or any Shortcut in VoiceLive 2.
▸ VoiceTone Harmony-G XT: turn your harmonies on and off for the verse or chorus.
▸ VoiceTone Create XT: bypass the effects when it’s time to talk to the audience.
▸ VoiceTone Synth: add the HardTune or Vocoding effect on single words or phrases with ease.
▸ VoiceTone Singles: chain the pedals together and set up Mic Control to turn HardTune and Doubling on and off – leaving your reverb and tone settings unchanged for example.
