Pro-Mark adds four new drumstick models to their catalogue

It seems that D’addario purchasing of the Houston-based drumstick and drumming accessories maker Pro-Mark has begun on the right path. Along with a series of new product releases for this winter NAMM and a more prominent make-over on their manufacturing process which will incorporate D’addario’s LEAN standards, Pro-Mark is introducing four new drumsticks to the market; The new Joey Jordison Autograph model, the new Marching Snare drumstick, and two new Scott Johnson Models.

Following the popularity of Joey Jordison’s hickory model, Pro-Mark is now releasing a Japanese Shira Kashi Oak version of the same. The new PW515W is identical to the TX515W, with 16” long and .551” in diameter, featuring a slim neck for a fast rebound and a round wood tip for exceptional articulation. This design, along with the legendary strength and durability of Shira Kashi Oak, makes the PW515W a very versatile drumstick. The PW515W is in stock for immediate delivery and its suggested retail price is $17.95 per pair.

The new Marching Snare Drumstick TXDC72W, designed in cooperation with Chris Retschulte is made of American hickory. It is 16 7/8” long x .700” in diameter and features a narrow taper and ball-shaped wood tip for a great sound and feel, particularly in the lower dynamic range. The new Marching Snare Drumstick TXDC72W is in stock and available for immediate delivery. The suggested retail price is $14.95 per pair.

The new Scott Johnson Autograph Model (TXDC17W) is made of American hickory. It is 17” long x .700” in diameter with a medium taper and modified ball-shaped wood tip, great for a wide dynamic range and responsive rebound. Its suggested retail price is $17.00 per pair. The new Scott Johnson “Sco-Jo” Practice Stick (TXXB3) is also made of American hickory. It is 17” long x .700” in diameter with a medium taper and modified ball-shaped rubber tip. It’s perfect for practice on virtually any surface, but also produces a muted, yet articulate, sound from marching snare or tenor drums. Its suggested retail price is $29.95 per pair. Both the TXDC17W and the TXXB3 ‘ScoJo’ are in stock and available for immediate shipment.
