Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

I got this guitar at my local music store for $690, although in other places it can be had for a little bit cheaper. I bought it because it is simply the most beautiful acoustic-electric guitar I have ever seen and heard.

I love this guitars deep red finish and overall look, but cosmetics aside it is still a great guitar. The neck has a good feel to it and the electronics sound great. The built in tuner takes away alot of hassle as well.

The only thing I don't like about this guitar is the fact that I paid $150 more then most people pay for the same kind, as my local music shop is somewhat expensive.

This instrument has a cutaway dreadnought style maple body with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The electronic interface is cut into the side facing the guitarist and the jack is on the bottom where the strap attaches.

I believe this to be one of the finest electric/acoustic guitars within a mid price range.
