Ampeg Portabass PB250 Head Reviews  4 / 5 based on 1 reviews For a solid state head it has terrific tone
and in particular it has Ampeg tone. Most
of the time I use it with a Portabass 12"
and they are very well matched. It's not
so well matched to the Portabass 2x10 cab,
as undesirable distortion creeps in when
you run that at about 2/3 power. I think
