Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

Bought new for $640, Guitar Center in MA.

Solid neck-through body, sunburst color. It is a beauty. I play all types of music, and this thing rocks on jazz as well as punk (no pick needed to get a stingy tone off it, too!). Separate bridge for each string. Great sustained note, esp. B-string. Rally thunders. I used to have DeArmond 5-string. Schecter blows that out of the water completely. Nice sounding pickups and electronics. Pairs great with Bass POD. I am very happy.

A bit steep price. But c'mon!

Solid and well-made.

Very good instrument. Go for it if you can afford it.
