Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

I found this beaut at a local music shop. I paid about $400 for what I thought was a Fender Japanese Strat.

It sounds so much like a Strat it would fool anyone. It has an alder body and a maple neck. I had a vintage single coil installed in the bridge. after some restoring, she sounds, plays and looks great!

I was overcharged by $200.

The construction is fine. As mentioned it needed some "therapy."

I would have bought the guitar anyway even if I had known that it wasn't a Fender. Oh well, you live, you learn.
