B.C. Rich M7 Warlock Reviews 3

Guitarworld UK, 250.

The neck is narrow and very easy to play with good action, higher notes are accessible due to the shape of the body, solid bridge, it's also well balanced.

The basswood body is on the brittle side- the binding is very easy to chip on the points. The lack of a tone knob and the two BDSM humbuckers dont leave much room for variation. Doesn't fit most guitar stands (get a wall mount).

No probolems as yet, with the exception of 2 chips. Very easy to play.

I felt the other review of this guitar was very unfair, this is not a bad guitar at all and would be a good starting point for any beginner wanting to play metal tunes. However, if you want variation you may have to customise it a bit (mine now has an EMG 81 in the bridge and an 85 in the neck aswell as a tone pot). With a little bit of tinkering about on the bridge the action rivals that of just about any other guitar. The binding may not be to everyone's taste, but i like it and it's not really that big a deal. The M7 is by far one of the best sub-500 guitars that BCRich have produced (not really difficult when you compare it to a bronze series guitar).

RAT music in oxford, I bought it for 300. I came home and my brother said, "Thats the guy out of Slipknot's guitar." I felt sick.

The Neck.

The finish, the tone selector, the white binding, The knot association, everything but the neck.

The bass pickup blew out within 3 months of owning it. Me and my dad spent two weeks fixing the volume knob, and the neck turned out to be dodgy.

This guitar is THE worst guitar ever.
