You get what you pay for? And considering the target market of this microphone, that may not be bad. The Behringer B-1 comes with more than you would expect for a microphone of this price. It even includes a shockmount, a flight case, and a windscreen, so a lot of people who don't understand audio all that well will be lured in by the package... [read more on Audiofanzine]

In general, I'm really not a big fan of the Behringer B-1. While it is true that I might have somewhat of a bias against gear made by Behringer, it is also true that this is a low end microphone that isn't capable of very much. Overall, I guess the Behringer B-1 will do okay for the home studio but for anything else, it's better to pay more to get something that will do the job satisfactorily. [read more on Audiofanzine]

I use it for three year, when I havn't enough money, it returned services!! Of course high-pitched are missing but you can use a multi-band compressor (or de-esser) to correct it...
