Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

Bought it new quite a few years ago at local guitar shop. I don't exactly remember price I would say a few hundred bucks. I bought it at the recommendation of the guitar shop.

It's got a good "nothing added" sound. It also can get pretty loud. I don't use the built in Chorus and reverb much anymore because I have a Line 6 POD 2.0 that I do all effects and everything else through. But it's eternal effects were decent.

Only thing that has ever gone wrong is if you pull on the powercord (like moving the amp but forgetting to unplug it) it doesn't unplug it at the amp it pulls the plug out and disconnects it inside. But that's an easy fix you just open up the amp part of combo and reconnect it.

This unit has been pretty rock solid.

I think this unit is a good, solid state mid power amp.
