Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

The finish is flawless. The body is solid wood. The neck is slim and unfinished. I love the way it feels. The action was super low right out of the box. A little buzzy, but this was easily fixed with a small adjustment of the truss rod. It looks and sounds great.

If you want to get nitpicky about a $79 guitar - the hardware and nut look a bit cheap. The pickguard is not a thing of beauty, but I've already changed it. Some fret ends were a little rough but I smoothed them with steel wool.

This guitar was very well put together, I have no criticisms about its construction.

This is a nice looking, great playing cheapie strat! For the price you just can't go wrong.
