Fury Guitars Tornado Bass Left handed Reviews 4

I purchased this bass directly from the factory in June of 1999. I had been looking into having a short scale bass custom built but the tornado wass a better deal. I paid $1295 for it.

I like the lightweight body and the Pau Ferro fingerboard. The pickups offer quite a few tone options, making this bass suitable for any musical situation.

Number one, the knobs wind the wrong way! The large companies (Fender, Gibson, Ibanez, etc.) sell such a large volume that they are able to have reverse pots made for their left handed instruments. Being a very small company, Fury doesn't have this option. Other than that, the only complaint I had was that the neck was a bit too narrow.

Construction and quality were both top-notch. The finish on all parts of the instrument was smooth and even. And the wiring is very well done also.

All in all, a very well designed and built bass for a very specific need. I feel this would be a good bass for anyone with small hands who is looking for an easy to play bass.
