Ibanez AW200CE Reviews 4

I bought this at Sam Ash Music in Columbus, OH. The saleman there was great, very helpful and willing to negotiate. I'm not here to toot anybody's horn, but Sam Ash is hard to beat when it comes to price and selection. I got the guitar and an SKB hardshell for $600.00 out the door.

I was in the store about 2hrs. and played everthing in the place that was between $500-$1000. Though I was definately tempted by the Taylor guitars (twice the price!), the Ibanez seemed to have the best bang for the buck. I was looking for tone that was fat and full without amplification. The Ibanez artwood delivered it amazingly well acoustically. I wasn't surprised once I finally plugged it into an amp and the fishman pickup system was awesome! The "Vintage Violin" finish is beautiful and the accents and woodgrains look great together. Grover tuners are a plus as well.

Really have no complaints so far. If anything I'd like the neck to be a tad bit thinner, considering it's a cutaway and I do lead with it. But the upper frets are still easily accessible.

Above average quality was what sold me on the guitar. It looks fantastic and the feel is great. It has the feel of a quality instrument, unlike some of the other higher priced acoustics I tested out.

If you're looking for a great acoustic in the $1000.00 range, save yourself a few bucks and buy the Ibanez Artwood AW200CE at $600.00. You will get $1000.00 quality at a better price!

Great acoustic/electric guitar model that mike enzinger of incubus uses, the solid engleman spruce top sounds great , my back and sides are somewhat special compared to others though mine are pillowy flame maple back and sides marroonish stain its pretty, and its got a great fishman prefix plus eq with a great fishman pickup sounds amazing action on mine was great , my tuners seem to work better with daddario lights though with others the intonation seems to hard to deal with . i bought it from Morrison Bros. Music Co. in Jackson, MS it cost me around600 and the list is 800 so i got a great deal on it well worth the money
