The guitar is good for the money, and you're getting quite a bit of bang for your buck. I recommend trying to buy one of these used if you can. You'll save a good bit of money, and you'll get a very solid guitar. Pay attention to neck joint gaps, nut binding and fretwork issues. Aside from that, it should be nearly perfect. Bottom line is: If this is your first guitar, it will do you just fine. You will have a nicer guitar than most entry level guitarists.
