Laney CR-150 Reviews  4 / 5 based on 1 reviewsI bought this unit from a small music store in Germany. I wanted something that was easy to transport and inexpensive. I paid $350.00 for the system.
It has a 150 watt amp with 5 channel mixer built right in. Each channel has both XLR and 1/4" jacks, and each channel has limited effects available. Each speaker cabinet has a 12" and a horn. It's very simple to set up and use and more than adequate for small clubs, church rec halls, school gyms, etc.. My acoustic/electric guitar sounds great through the system. I don't need a separate amp.
It's plain black tolex, nothing fancy and reverb is all you get for effects.
Very solid. Somewhat heavy, but speakers can be put up on the stands by one person alone.
It was just what I was looking for. I don't need a special class on how to use it and I don't need help carrying it around and setting it up. And it was pretty inexpensive. Rudy rated this unit on 2002-09-04.
