If you are looking for a practice amp or a small gig amp, this thing has lots of options, and is easy to customize and understand and its really hard to create a bad sound with it. The Transformer 112 is the best of the small modelling amps I have tried, bar none--the price is right, and this little amp is suitable for studio use, where it takes the place of my tweed Champ, Princeton, and AC-15!! [read more on Audiofanzine]

If you're looking for an amp that will give you a lot of bang for the buck, this one is for you. It is a little more pricey than some of the other Peavey models (e.g. the Bandit), but you are really getting a lot for your money.
