This is an electronic guitar tuner which clips to the headstock. I purchased this to replace a QwikTune that I'd had for over 15 years and lost a couple of weeks ago.

I purchased this at a local dealer for $12.95US

First, although the unit is the smallest electronic tuner I've ever seen, the display is more legible from a distance than any unit I've owned previously. There are two indicators to assist in tuning the string: the color of the display and the 'needle' on the 'meter). When the tuning is flat, the display is amber. When the tuning is sharp, the display is red. When the string is tuned to the proper pitch, the 'needle' is centered and the display turns from amber or red to green. In addition, the tuner is programmed for following functions: chromatic, guitar, bass, violin (or mandolin since these instruments are tuned the same), and ukulele. The fact that this is a contact tuner that clips to the headstock means I can tune in a crowded room without having to plug my acoustic guitar in to isolate the tuner and signal from room noise.

I haven't found anything I don't like.

Construction seems typical for this unit. I wish the clip was sturdier but this will probably last me for a good while.

For those wanting a good electronic tuner that has versatility for other instruments, yet does not cost a lot, this is an excellent bargain.
