Rogue SX 100B Reviews 2 / 5 based on 2 reviewsI bought this thruogh musicians friend for $79.99. I play the guitar and I wanted a bass to use for recording.
It was cheap and it works for recording, which is why I bought it.
There are a lot of thing wrong with this. It plays like crap (at least in my opinion). The screws on the input jack came out and the wood is stripped so I can't screw them back in. I ended up using electrical tape. Like I said, I only paid $80 bucks for the thing, so I never really expected much.
I think it might fall apart some time soon. I don't trust it at all.
If you want to play bass as a primary instrument, don't buy this. It's pretty much firewood. It's worked alright for me, but I don't require a whole lot from it. T$ rated this unit on 2004-08-01. Purchased from Musicians Friend for $79.00

This is a steaming hunk of crap. I wouldnt give it to my worst enemy. It is truly a buzz machine I don't know what I was thinking.
After having it for two weeks I noticed a very loud hum that only went away after I touched a metal piece of the guitar. Also one of the tuning machines striped out while I was making a very minor adjustment
After contacting Musicians Friend they told me to send the unit back at my cost for repair which I did and they sent me a brand new one. This is about the only good thing I have to say about it.
Please don't buy this turd save your money and get someting over $300.00 even if you are just starting out you will regret it rated this unit on 2002-08-23.
