Samick Silvertone Reviews 5

I wanted a guitar for a while, but didnt have the money for "a good one". I found the silvertone at the mall for $200,with an amp and the whole starter kit, but was a little worried about what quality i would be getting. I found someone at my school who had bought the same guitar, and he let me try it out.

It stays in tune pretty well, and has a great sound. The pickups could be quieter, but how can you complain for $200. Even with me switching between different tunings constantly, it stays in tune. I also play my guitars a little rough, and it still manages to stay in perfect tune.

The pickups are a little noisy, but thats really the only thing i can see wrong with it. For $200, i can deal with some noise. It doesnt affect the sound any.

solid body, with a bolt on neck, 3 single-coil pickups, and a 5 position selector switch. Came with an amp, gig bag, 2 sets of strings, picks, strap, an digital tuner, and the cables.

The silvertone is a great guitar, and i would recommend it to any beginner, looking for a good quality guitar for a low price.
