Stagg Various Reviews 5

I have acquired various Stagg cymbals recently, both new and secondhand. Prices have varied from £10 for a 16" crash to £37 for a 20" ride. Pretty good for hand made B20 cymbals eh ?

Being handmade they are all slightly different, nobody really will have one identical. The hi-hats are top quality, a great crunchy sound when slightly opened. They all look great, especially the Brilliant series - really nice looking and sounding genuine bronze cymbals ! Hefty too .....

erm......can`t think of anything.

The brilliant series Staggs are highly polished and smoother than the regulars, but they are all well made in B20 bronze, the stuff the big companys top of the range gear is made from.

If you cant afford a new set of Zildjian K`s, (and lets face it who can ?) then I recommend you have a look at Staggs. eBay always has a few for sale, or most drums shops can get them - Bronze hand made hi-hats, ride, crash and a case for about £150 ? You cannot go wrong.
