Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

I paid around 400 dollars at a local dealer. I bought it simply because it was the nicest sounding guitar I have ever played.

I really like the fact that my EG-330 is a lot cheaper than many of the guitars out there. I liked it so well that I traded my EF-341C for it and an electric, but forget about the electric for now. The big rich full sound just drew me in. It also feels great playing it.

I don't like that I had to buy a seperate pickup system for it, but I don't think it would sound as nice acoustically if there were electronics in it.

Well I have owned this guitar for 2 years and i probably put in about 100 hours a weeks playing it and it still sounds and looks new. I just do routine oiling and other maintenance on it while I do it's monthly cleaning.

I think this guitar is probably the best investment I ever made. The moment you play it you'll understand what I mean. Just remember to change the strings every couple of weeks and it will sound great forever.
