Yamaha Steve Gadd BSD-14SG Snare Reviews 5

I'm a drummer. I'm originally from Brazil. I play in a band called Glint.

The Steve Gadd BSD-14SG Yamaha Snare is so far one of my favorite ones. I have it a while now but besides being a discontinued product by Yamaha you can still find it in places like Ebay. These is another piece of drum that I felt it came to me without I've previously known about it. It was gave to me by my band's sound guy. Giving a bright yet full snare sound, this birch made drum made me start bringing it whenever I go.

I love how precise, clean, crisp and big snare I can get from this drum. It's very well made like all the Yamaha line which is another favorite brand of mine in the drum manufacturer world. It comes with plastic spacers between hardware and shell reducing dampening of shell's vibration.

Unfortunately this product had been discontinued by its manufacturer making harder to find on the market.

The BSD-14SG is a 6 ply birch snare with a 35 degree edge. With 10 small body chromed with isolators non-locking lugs. It comes with a high-gloss black lacquer finishing.

This is a great addition for your snare collection and an awesome sounding drum that you can trust to achieve bright, defined and full snare sound.
